Flashport upgrade keys

Post by Microwave Mike »

I still see that you all are looking for Flashport keys. Is that still the case? I have opened up two of them. Not much inside except a EE prom and a Dallas serial number chip. My guess is that the number of flashes is controlled by the EEprom and the flash software is looking for the unique serial number generator.
I have yet to get one not used up.
That is the next step, get one with a flash I need, read the EEprom, then do the flash and read it one more time.
I am working on the drawing to this also.....

What is the actual EEprom's part number? If we know that actual part number we can find something that might be able to read it.

My guess is that it is a simple counter that might be alle to be reset or reprogrammed into a new EEprom.
