I'm helping a local fire dept. that wants to hook a Telex headset system to a MCS 2000 (trunk mount). Could someone give me the pinout of the connector?

Did you check the Model Specific section on BatLabs?

Screw telex....go with the David Clark setup with the adapter to hook it to a Mobile radio....I sold these to the Portmaster of Bermuda one time and they loved them for the Noisy open boats....when thte Db level is even worse than fire trucks

I checked the model specific section but I didn't see the PTT and mic audio connections.
Yes I don't think that Telex would have been my choice either but they already have it. I heard the new David Clark models use telephone type RJ connectors. This is like Firecom which have not proved to be very reliable. By the way Firecom tried to sell us a cable (db-25 x molex) for $125 and it wasn't even long enough. When I called the company, it sounded like they had never actually tried their unit with the radios they were selling interfaces for.
