xts 3000 error codes
error code FAIL 43/82 any idea ??
I don't know what that fail code means but I loaded the wrong codeplug into my Xts-3000 a while back and got a fail 39/82 and now i am about to get a new controller board because the radio will not read or write with any software, its like the radio is not even on when trying to read or write. Sorry to hear about the zaped control board. If you have acess to another 3K with the same feature set, a pack/unpack may wake it up. I would only do this as a last resort. If it will not read or can be written to, even that may not work.
I however am looking for bad command boards to do a little evil expermenting with. If you have to replace yours I would like to buy the DOA one. Help take some of the sting out of the new board.
