I have several Maxtrac Radios,,when I use the HMN1035C mic I sound terrible, but when I use an HMN1035A or one onf the DTMF mics I sound better. Is there some with the HMN1035C mics is there something that sholud be changed with the software. I have the deviation set at 26 on the RSS deviation scale. Thanks inadvabce for the help

Sounds like mic is no good but the service monitor is the tool to show what is happenning.5K is max audio.4.4 is my best setting for most commercial radios.

Hi:

I have seen " Many " Palm size mics that
are pretty poor even Brand New.

They do not like being dropped as the mic
element in the cheaper plam mics are just
that " Cheap"

So if you have ( 1 ) mic that sounds fine, and the other sounds poor, just toss the bad
mic....A standered mic head can be purchased
for around 20.00
