Two Spectras with one A9 head. Very rare setup from what I understand. No idea as to the part number on the cable. I do believe each radio must be equipped with a special MLM board though, again no idea on that part number. So it isn't just adding the cable, there is more to it than that.

The only 2 radio lash up I have seen is a government special. Motorola made a number of these for the government. It consisted of a VHF and a UHF radio package. Each radio had a DES box attached. Then they both went through a serial interface unit SIU and then to a hand held control mic.

I have made up a cble to bypass the DES box. Removed the UHF radio and used it just as a VHF Spectra set up.

I was given the Spectra manual part number 6807993D06 as the "Dual Radio System w/ HHCH (A3) T83 and T84 Models" ($ 42.75 retail). I do not have a copy myself so I can not verify if it is for the dual radios. This is the A3 HHCH, not the A9 control head.

This manual should document the radios Jim202 described.
