Xts3000 Controller Board?

Post by Mopar078 »

I just got a new 800 Mhz controller board from Motorola for my Xts3000 and I can't do anything with it because I don't have the newest version software Motorola used. I was wondering if I could find an older codeplug with the same flashcode as the controller board and dump it into it or would I have to initialize the controller board first?

Yes, you can dump in a codeplug from an older version RSS/CPS, as long as the model & flashcode match exactly. Hopefully you kept a copy of the radio with the old controller board in it, or is the new board supposed to be a different Flashcode?

The new controller has a different flashcode then before so I guess I need a codeplug for a model 3 flashcode 500004000005 which I will probably never find. Thanks
