Troy consoles are deeper and closer to you in the LA area, better made and better looking

Just curious - can't you buy directly from Havis-Shields? (They're a stone's throw from me, and I'm pretty sure the locals deal directly with them rather than through resellers.)

I second that Stan!!! Troy consoles are the best out there, and they are the best looking too.

They dont sell direct to the public, I usually use this company, Pursuit Technologies. Check them out at: http://www.pursuittechnology.com/.

For those that care, I have a 7 inch console in great shape for sale - I need to get rid of it. Here's what it looks like: Image

Mattew, you don't have to buy from a dealer that is near you as far as I know. This is the Troy dealer I got mine through:

Southern Public Safety
Greensboro, NC 27406
919 854-5536

Gave me a 10% police discount because I work for the Sheriff's Office here too. Great folks to work with. Be sure to look at my last post for all the pics and info!

You could also try Inch's Machine Shop in Loomis, Ca. They don't have a website yet but you can call Connie at 916 652 0628 and request a catalog. They make excellent quality powder coated consoles.
Most of the older CHP stuff was made by them and they currently do Calif. Corrections cars. If you have questions, ask for Rory. Good prices too!

Weve discussed it before Stan and frankly I dont like Troy - hell, there website wouldnt even load for me. You may like them because you get stuff for free - I dont. Just like you said, personal opinion. I got a 30" console with all the accessories I need and I dont mind spending the money seeing as how many thousands of dollars Ive already put into it.

And what is wrong with freebies? Or are you better than everyone else to accept a freebie...

Hell... if it's for free... it's for ME!!!
