I have a UHF Astro with the following Flashcode:

H15/H44 H15 is Astro Data
H868/W969 Multikey Operation
H39 Selective Radio Inhibit
H35/G48 Conventional Operation
H29 Single key Software Encryption Option
Q354 OTACS (Over The Air Channel Steering)
Q353 OTACR ((Over The Air Channel Reassignment)
Q352 Soft ID
Q351 MODAT Operation

To be able to monitor the LAPD do I just need to upgrade to the Q806 ASTRO Digital CAI (IMBE) Operation and that is it? Or are there some other options I should also get? Also does anyone know the approx. prices of the upgrades. Thank you.

Check the newly updated information on that radio in the model specific info section at batlabs.com. The new and old LA essentials are there.

But in short, your radio doesn't have to have ANYTHING in it except for conventional operation and IMBE.

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

When I priced out MODAT, it came with VSLEP (part of it). That was in the $550 range, so I guess you can go from there...!

What exactly is your flash code and firmware/DSP version numbers? This will help us point you in the right direction.
