No this isn't a request for such allthough it'd be handy

But myself being the proud owner of an XTS3000 UHF version 450-512Mhz 25khz step

I was wondering if its possible to Legitamately get hold
of the original Lab files that motorola sometimes ever so kindly leaves onboard when purchased brand new.

Se reason being STUPID me lost the attempted
saved copy of the very first lab file that was on my radio when purchased.

Now too make matters worse i did a silly thing not that long ago in the RSS software
and diisabed my quick call atis and other calling methods not that i think i'll need them but yeh i made it so it was MDC only and now i'm kicking myself for it!

Is there anyway to get it back to Day1
without me having to send this poor little sucker back to the states to get factory reset?

If you're only asking for the radio's factory file, you might be able to get that, but you would probably have to be able to demonstrate that you are actually the original purchaser of the radio.

To do that, start by contacting your sales rep and explain the situation. He should be able to get in touch with the right group at the factory and get a duplicate original codeplug for your radio, or at least arrange it so that you can get it.

Good luck.
