NICK [WATCHBUDDY] RADIO WARRANTY SERVICE

Post by N4KVE »

Before I start this thread I would like to say I dont work for Nick, never met the man, he's not my brother in law. In April I purchased 2 XTS3K'S from Nick. The first one took a while to get but has worked perfectly doing digital and analog trunking as well as conv. This one is on 800 mhz and is basically a scanner. The 2nd radio was UHF 403-470 mhz for amateur radio use. This radio worked perfectly but had 1 small glitch. If I turned the channel knob the radio would turn itself off then on again right away. I notified Nick by e-mail on Wed pm. He said to overnite the radio to him on Thus. I did this and he got the radio on Fri at 11 am. 4 pm I knew my radio was coming back overnite Sat delivery. It's now in my hands. Nick sent me a new radio and cloned it from the bad radio. Remember these are ham freqs. This radio can't duplicate the problem the 1st radio had. It's perfect. I wanted to purchase the fancy mike shown in his e-bay ads. I enclosed a check for that amount but he tore my check in half for my troubles. What an honest businessman. Back to back overnite brand new radio. Thanks Nick Could the big M do that. 73'S TO ALL GARY N4KVE
