Can someone explain to me what Motorola's One-Touch features are? Any ideas on specific uses that agencies use 1-touch features for?

One touch features simply allow you to
assign a specific button (one on the left
side of the radio, the PTT, monitor and 1 and 2 buttons) to operate certain features.
They can be programmed for phone, private call, call alert, status, or message.

It's just a convenience feature that makes it a little faster and easier to use some commonly used messaging features, that's all.
You won't usually miss it if you don't have it.
