Talkaround feature: Changes to all personalities in zone?

After programming correctly a HT 1250, I can enable/disable the talkaround feature on each individual personality or channel.

On the AS3, when talkaround button is pressed, it enables Talkaround on ALL personalities in the zone (the ones that have Talkaround feature turned on). Is this normal? Zone 1 has 5 channels with Talkaround enabled, and if I turn on Talkaround on one memory channel, all 5 channels have talkaround engaged now. Any way to have the AS3 behave like the HT1250?

Also...... anyway to make the AS3 turn on/off or change to a different MDC with the talkaround button like the HT1250 can. I have 2 crossband homebrew /\/\otorola Amateur Radio repeaters, and each ressponds/opens to different MDC's. On my AS3, I have to program two memory channels, while I can do the same thing with one memory on the HT1250.
