Does the vehicle adapter for the Astro Saber 3 have an amplifier in it - or does it just connect the antenna contacts to the external antenna?

Thanks

The adaptor is about 425 dollars NEW directly from Motorola... amplifier? Well when you put the Astro into it the sound is amplified so it is nice and loud in the car... as for wattage - you will need to get an extermal power amp for that......
