ASTRO Squelch Forces NAC of 293

All Motorola ASTRO radios (Portables, Mobiles, and the Quantar) seem to have an operational hiccup in ASTRO mode that Motorola doesn't seem to want to fix. The function of digital carrier squelch can be accomplished through menu selection for squelch type, but the programming software then FORCES the transmitted NAC to be $293. This should not be a forced/non-override situation, but it continuies to be this way.

Anyone know if The Big M is going to fix this?
