Can a Astro Saber 3 with 512K Board do IMPE or is it just limited to VSELP?

512 can do IMBE if the firmware version is correct.

If you surf some posts you'll find the right versions....

Host/DSP of 5.60 (or 5.06?) with a dsp of 6 should have IMBE. I know when I had my 512k Astro it did. Look for a combination of 5.x and 6.x ... you should be good.

The only known limitiation with at 512k board is that you cannot do the Astro25 9600 control channel trunking. Other than that, your good to go.
