Astro D-Button Clip

Post by 2wayfreq »

Hi,

I thought I had found a D-button swivel clip for my Astro. Turnes out its for the standard saber ..an inch too short. :(. Does anyone have a source of who makes these? Motorola was stumped and could not provide an answer. I am talking about where normally the snap in clip would go for the back of the radio, the clip is just fitted with a Steel D button for the swivel belt loop. Thanks..:)

I found this in the Moto catalog, Astro Saber section. It sounds like what you're searching for, but there was no picture.

HIGH ACTIVITY BUTTON
PHN6141A Removable “D” button used in conjunction with high-activity
belt loop.

hi,
Well I talked to motorola parts ID. That item is 89.00 and is not the clip for some reason. What I do have is a standard pocket spring clip and I have the one d-button that is an inch too short. I guess I can take it to a machine shop and have the pocket clip removed and the D-button taken off the other one and re-attached to the longer clip.
