IFR 2975 Test Set Issue

Post by ASTROMODAT »

Is the IFR 2975 capable of testing for proper radio keypad operation for digital signaling (equivalent to DTMF in analog mode)?

This is called “ASTRO Dialing” for Motorola ASTRO25 radios (e.g., unacknowledged APCO P25 defined "Data 12" type packets).

How about Data 18 packets (e.g., acknowledged ASTRO packet data)?

Thanks!

You need to talk to Rob Barden, the marketing manager of the 2975 project:

Please DON'T ask me - anything that is in the current release Rob can tell you about, and anything that is NOT in the current release (i.e. is in the next release undergoing development) I cannot tell you about as a matter of policy.
This is my opinion, not Aeroflex's.

I WILL NOT give you proprietary information. I make too much money to jeopardize my job.

I AM NOT the Service department: You want official info, manuals, service info, parts, calibration, etc., contact Aeroflex directly, please.
