This mid-power AS mobile shuts down when keyed up. Most likely this is the PA protection circuit shutting it down, and I suspect a problem behind the antenna connector. When received the connector was loose. Problems developed when I tightened the exterior nut on same.
Question is, how do I get access to this area? Remove the PA? or loosen and lift the PA board with the heat sink still attached? Suggestions, please.
