Code 3 Vcon install

Post by kens »

I'm installing a light bar on an Explorer that previously had only a mirror light and rear amber. It has a V con siren head that has 4 aux. switches on the front. I have found 4 relays on the siren box and these seem to be operated by the slide switch. Where are the outputs for the aux pushbuttons? The unit is far under the dash and difficult to access the front and wiring.
Thanks

THe 4 aux switch goes to the Relays and then go out on to the back of the Sirenbox, if you take out the siren box you should see a diagram on there, its very specific on whats what. The relays are not operated by the slide switch, the slide switch dont have any relays at all,

Everything should be at the back for hooking up, just take it out and see the diagram.

There must be several V-Con designs then.

The last one I had apart had a burned relay on the 2nd stage lighting for the pursuit switch. The one that I had apart had three relays on the pursuit or slider switch.

Just like the 3892L6- many designs, I assume.
