HT50 programming odds

What radios do you own?: You can't imagine!...

A friend from the local PD brought me
an HT50 to reprogram it. The radio was
programmed and worked OK.
After reprogramming, modes 1,2,4,5 are
programmed as receive-only (no xmit freq),
mode 3 is OK, and mode 6 has 136.000 Mc
as recv-only. I tried to reprogram it
several times but in vain. Any ideas?
