I have used one, it works great. They are a good radio for the price. I have yet to start programming them, but they are pretty neat. I definetly reccomend!

The CP200 looks and feel like a solid radio. At this time, only the remote speaker mic jack and its cover do not impress me. The jack is surface mounted on the side of the board. At least the contacts are gold plated and hopefully it doesn’t suffer the same problems the GP300 does with its top mounted jack.

Just ordered almost 40 of them for one of the local FDs and did a little checking before doing so. Another dealer that I work with sometimes says they had some RX audio problems which were'nt too bad, but that /\/\ knew about them and was working to correct them.

Otherwise, he stated that they were decent units and looked to be of decent quality. (A suprising thing from Motorola these days, ESPECIALLY on a lower end end radio). I will let all know how the programming goes.

we have over 1500 of these units in rental stock, some very minor problems, but overall a better launch then the HT-series out oif the gate
