Okay this may sound like a dumb question but here goes. I would like to take a mt-1000 mic cord and put a jedi series mic head on it. Is this fesable or would i be wasting both time and money by atempting it. I would like to do this to make a mic that is more firefighter friendly. The ptt button on the standerd mic is to small to work with gloves on.

Thanks Chris

It can be done and don't laugh, but I have seen a full mic head from a Maxtrac being used on a HT-1000. It looked funny but was functional.

And conversely, how about taking an MT1000 hic head and putting it on a Jedi series speaker/mic cable? I much prefer the size of the Genesis mics over those of the Jedis.
