2002 Ford Taurus - Siren Speaker Help

Post by familo77 »

Need some help here folks. I'm trying to find a siren speaker to mount in the grille of a 2002 Taurus. The car is my govt. vehicle and my boss wants me to put something in that can be easily removed (we don't get alot of notice when we have to trade in the cars). As you probably know, space is tight in there. It doesn't absolutely have to be in the grille, but it has to be a relatively simple install. Suggestions?

Look at CPI "Cast Products Inc" as well.

which engine do u have? if it is th larger of the two u can go in the wheel well in front on the driverside or down on the front bumper. i have the whelen there. you have to bend the bracket to make it fit and you do have to remove the front plastic bumper cover/cowl. in the smaller engine you can go on the cross member of the frame. this is where about 100 were mounted for the DOC.

Illinois DOC has a ton of them in service... I should ask where they mounted there's.
