I know that this board is for Motorola products, but I need help on a Kenwood TK-940. If anyone knows of a Kenwood Batlabs style board, please let me know. Anyone know the secret to programing a 940? Thanks

There is a Yahoo group that is dedicated to Kenwood. There isn't a lot of activity, but there seem to be some helpful people there who know Kenwood. Hope they can help.

What difficulty are you having? I use the 941's for 900mhz ham, and they program the same.

You will need the FCC freq ID code instead of the freq itself to program it. If you need it I have a program that converts the freq to the ID.

That is one of the questions that I have, the program to convert would be great thanks! The other question is how do you program the repeater split?

If it is like the 941, the split is standard with the FCC freq code and not changable. You just enter that code and choose repeated or talkaropund.

PM me with the email address you woul like the program sent to.

Okay, so I was only kidding!
I Never asked, tried to sell, or even so much as hinted about RSS. The moderators decided to "tag" me for no reason. This is what happens when you ask for help on the board. Your name gets smeared for something you didn't do.
