What do you all think about the new CP200's? I have a large institution on my service list that is wanting to subscribe to one of my repeaters, and right now they are using the Spirit series and are going to have to change them over to programmable handhelds. I was going to sell them the new RPV516 but they are junk in my opinion, its really sad you cant stand behind and want to sell your own product, but thats another story. But they need about 175 new handhelds. Also appx. half of them need leather cases and speaker mics, also need an extra battery for each. Just lookin for some input. The repeater is 149.xxxx transmit and 151.xxxx recieve with I-DPL.

Hi,

Since that has to be a Federal (and probably DoD) institution, they will be transistioning to narrowband and different frequencies soon (if they haven't already!).. The CP200 is apparently NTIA compliant, which is good..

My mistake, my transmit is 159.xxxx instead of 149.xxxx, my goof up, just in on a few minute break and typed it up real fast. All 4 of my repeaters are already 12.5 splits. The institution is a large private school.
