Using XTS's in NTN8831A Charger - Sloppy fit

We have about 100 XTS2500's/XTS5000's using the NTN8831A charger as well as several 6-gang chargers (don't remember the part number.)
These radios do not sit in the charger very well - you need to get the slots in the battery just right - but it appears that there are slots in the charger well to adapt the charger for this radio. I have a request in to motorola, but they don't have any info on such an item - There must be something out there - I don't think I'm the first to encounter this...???
