Street price for a NEW XTS3000?

Post by Hightower »

What's an avarage price for a new UHF 403-470 XTS3000 with a decent flash including IMBE. Trunking option and encryption is NOT needed at this time.

I feel the need to upgrade :D , but should sell/trade a few /\/\otorolas first. I like the form factor of the waris radios, and the XTS comes close to the waris series. My AS3's are a bit too long - anyone want to trade.

Many thanks

What radios do you own?: Disney FRS

Most XTS's without accessories go for $950-$1100 depending on firmware and flash, plus overall condition.

Greedbay will get you $1000-1300 for the same...

Thanks for your input. A bit less expensive than I thought.

Not that I think you will find one at this price, but over here after the Sydney olympics we were lucky enough to snap em up at under $500Au ! 8) . They went like hotcakes, and most of us have had a nightmare ever since trying to program them (not many volenteer fire departments have motorola style funding!).
Anyway, to stay on topic, I doubt you will find anyone with a stash of "new" xts3k's, but if you do let us all know!

A 10 of 10 condition mint XTS3000 with IMBE and DES-OFB that has factory FLASH (as opposed to eBay FLASH) will easily get $1,500. Anything less than this means there is some sort of issue (e.g., serial number "problem," hacked plug, analog, no DES-OFB, chipped case/pad, etc.). There's no such thing as a "free lunch."
