Post by itjisfo »

i have a ht1250 full keypad model number aah25kdf9aa5an .. when i first got it i checked it out and it was fine .. but over time i noticed i don't have the distance i did with my jedi ... i put it on the bench and i only have two watts out .. i give it an alignment and it works for a couple days and goes back down to about 2 watts ... i looked for an SRN but could not fine one ... any ideas ....

How is it going back to 2 watts? What is happening when you look at it on the service monitor? I'm assuming that the value in the Pro Tuner doesn't change for power.... Thats a strange problem. Maybe something is failing in the radio. You won't get quite the range of the Jedi series radio's, but your radio should be put out around 5 watts.....I didn't look up the model number, but assuming it is VHF. You may want to reload a different codeplug, but can't see how that would help, since the tuning values are separate from the codeplug on the Waris Series radio's.

Do you happen to be on the 'ends' of the frequency range, i.e. if its a 136-174 Mhz radio, are you close to 136 or 174?

Make sure the auto power adjust feature is turned off.
