Saber Display Light

Post by NSPD »

Is there a way to permanently set the Saber Display Light to on? I use my radio alot at night, and pressing enter every time I need to see the keypad is very annoying. :x

Thanks!

Here is a previous post on that subject:

My Saber II backlight does stay on during scan if activated but otherwise it times out in 20 seconds if on a fixed channel/mode.

I can't advise on the resistor mod mentioned but it does look very possible from looking at the Saber display schematic.

You will drastically shorten battery cycle life.
