Here is what I have... MODEL# T99DX+137W__ASTRO ID# D04JKH9PW7AN SERIAL # 412AVE000* <----I deleted the last digit.... The unit has 2 DB25 on the radio... One is marked "Control Unit" which is where the remote cable part# HKN4356B is connected to.... The control head says "ASTRO" with a full featured "1 thru 9 dial pad including the # and * keys... I can send pics if needed. I am told this is a 800Mhz Trunking unit. I know it is 800 because that is what came up on my freq. counter....Thanks in advance... Anthony

That's a conflicting description..

T99DX+137W = MOBILE ASTRO SPECTRA W7 136-162MHZ 25-50W 255 CHANNEL
D04JKH9PW7AN = MOBILE ASTRO SPECTRA W7 136-162MHZ 25-50W 255 CHANNEL

But yet you say (and verified) "800Mhz"? Are you ABSOLUTELY SURE???

What is the model number displayed in test mode? (press "home" 5 times after self-test.)

I am 100% sure it is an 800Mhz unit.... I keyed it up, and one of the channels said 855.500 on my Frequency counter..

Are you sure the 4th character is a J and not a U? U would be 800 MHz.

I've got the same error too...
I have XTS3000 and use CPS01.04.00 to read and got "CP too new for this application" Also that I use RSS 8.5 to read same, so advise which is right version to read my new toy.

[moderated]

If you want the right version, then you need to call 1-800-422-4210, and order the right version. While you don't come out and directly ask for it, I'm going to assume that's why you left your info.

ASKING FOR RSS IS A VIOLATION OF THE RULES HERE.

Thanks.
