ANYONE HAVE / USED CPS for Astro-Saber lll ?

Hello:

Hopefully there is someone out there that has
used the CPS based Software for the Astro-Saber lll

I have a few questions concerning the use of the
Software.

1. Has anyone here used the " Tuner " section of the
RSS with a Clone Cable ?

2. Is there a " Setup Menu " other than what is found
in the ASTROP function.

I have a forum member who is having some probelms
accessing the Tuner Menu with using a clone cable and
I have used Ver 9.00.00 RSS in a DOS arrangement and
have found a Clone cable will program the radio as well
as entering the Service Screen.

For whatever reason, his cable will read / write to the
radio, but will not alow him access to the " Tuner "
section when using the Clone Cable ?

So, I suspect corrupt RSS, or a Menu issue.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Monty,

There is no problem using the CPS Tuner for ASIII with a clone cable. I have personally done it many times.

Sounds like a software issue.
