Systems Saber TX Deviation Audio levels

Post by N4UMJ »

I am trying to align a Systems Saber on coventional channels and found it's completely different from the regular Saber.

I see the Deviation limiting level is 80mV at 1 kHz. Figured that out...

Specifically I am stuck on the TX Deviation Balance / Level adjustment. On the older Saber you used 355mV at 20 Hz and 1 kHz into the AUX BNC input and leveled it out so DEV1 = DEV2.

Anyone know what mV level/freqs and procedure are needed on the Systems Saber to accomplish this same task?

Thanks,
Eddie
