Public Safety Mic for XTS series?

I have a public safety mic for my HT1000(NMN6228C) and i was wondering if this mic will work on my XTS3000R Model 1 UHF and will the signal be reverted to the antenna on top of the public safety mic?

I was looking on a web site selling Motorola accessories and the public safety mic listed for the XTS3000 has a differenet model number then the one i have for my HT1000. Thanks.
