XTS3000 model 1 programming?

XTS3000 model 1 programming?

Could anyone advise me how to program the switch located below the 16 channel selector knob to turn scanning on and off. I looked thru the rss menus but I could not find the menu for this switch setting.
I currently have the scan on/off setting programmed on the side button but would like to have it on the switch located below the 16 channel selector knob. Thanks.

That is the two position concentric.

Make sure you do not have any other switch, button, or menu item set as scan.

If you have secure you'll need to make sure al channels are set to either clear or secure and not select as secure normally uses the concentric for selectable secure.
