The CDM/PRO/HT series will take a non-standard PL tone.

The Zetron M38A can be had with the prom allowing "in between" tones and has a much narrower decode bandwidth. Ol' Chuck Wells used tones in the 30 to 65 hz range to limmit access to his repeaters many years ago.
But then again this limmits the radios that can be used on the system. The M38A can be set to only accept a paticular PL tone AFTER a DTMF sequence, and to disallow that tone upon another DTMF seq. I am not talking about the programming of the tone on-off. It has been a while.
