If I save a codeplug, does it also save the Alignment/Calibration info with it ?
I ask because I have a D37 that I want to change from Trunking to Conventional so I can use the S/W to move it into the Ham Band.
I can get the board blanked and get a new EPROM but the question of the A&C data bothers me.

Thanks, Dick, W1KSZ

No, I don't believe it does. Even if it did, your saved codeplug will be useless to you once you've converted the Maxtrac. Just go through the alignment screens & write down all the settings. Once you've made the conversion, put them all back to the identical spots (I'm assuming you'll be doing the conversion properly, with the board & reference crystal numbers, and a good digital multimeter for measuring your 9.6 volts). Once you program the ham frequencies into it, it may need some further adjustments, but it's a good starting point.
