The alert tone when you power up the portable is delayed more than any other portable I have, it takes about twice the time to signal the "OK" beep. Any idea why? is somethiong in the RSS set wrong, unit works fine just a long delay at power up.
The power up alert tone is sometimes "delayed" a bit when you turn on the radio with the PL switch on or is very short. If the radio works, well????
A HT1000 Jedi series alerts after a POST (power on self test), about 1-2 seconds.
