Hi all,

Just recently a POS talkabout of mine just sh*t the bed, and I was just wondering if anyone knows what the address to Motorola's service dep. would be, so I can send the radio in to be repaired? I remember I sent a talkabout DPS in a while ago, and it took about 3 months to get back to me, I forgot I sent it out to begin with

Any help would be great thanks!

Hi:

You probably would be better off buying
another one. Unless its under Warrantee,
it could be a Costly issue and would run
just about the same as another one.

Rest assured, the other ones may follow
the same fate....You might just consider
getting a better quality radio for the same
price.

If you wish, email me direct, and I may
have a solution to your problem

I had some sucess obtaining parts for my older Sport7X FRS through the Service Dept. in Suwanee GA. I happened to get lucky with obtaining the needed parts.

The person I spoke to said they don't support these units after a couple of years (after the end of production). I can see why since they have a new model every year or so. However, the FRS I had was sort of unique and looked more like a Spirit portable than an FRS.

Here's the address I have:

1125 Satellite Blvd
Suite 101
Suwanee, GA 30024

It's been a while and with all the cutbacks at Motorola you would be best verifying this information.

I have a telephone number of:
1-800-448-6686 also on my FRS manual.

Good Luck!
Ed
