What radios do you own?: Too many!

Does anyone have a picture of it, and where it is located inside the radio? Also, is there a way to tell what type of encryption it is capable of? ie: DES, DVP, etc... Thanks a million,
Scott...

STX encryption boards are about two inches square (maybe a little more) and they are very thin, of course. They're usually found stuck to the rear shield of a suitably equipped STX. I've never seen one that wasn't made with a red colored PC board.
They have a flexible gold foil contact assembly on them, vaguely similar to the one used on the microprocessor module on a synthensized MX.

Determining the type is best done by either checking with various keyloaders or looking up the part number if you have it.

John Panik (panikelectronics.com) has some STX encryption modules in stock. He's one of the few sources for them. He also has the keyloaders. He's not cheap, but he has them!
