Do sabers have battery saver mode?

Yes, it's located in the service menu, enabled, or disabled , that's all you get.

After you set the battery save mode, recheck the low battery settings and do NOT use the "default" setting as your bettery will "need" recharging too soon with the default, change it to a much lower value and store it at the lower setting(I use the lowest setting-10).
When my display flashes, I know the battery is darn near depleted, and not at the <50% level Circle-M uses to define what a "low" battery level is.

The default is WRONG in most cases, and if left in this mode, you'll be replacing batteries more often.
