XTS 3500 programming trouble

XTS 3500 programming trouble

i have an xts3500 and astro rss 9.01.1 aug 11, 2001 i know that the radio has not been programmed since before sept 13 ,2001

when i try to read the radio i get a message that says codeplug to old for this application

can anyone help??

You need DOS version 2.0 something dated Sep. 2000, that is the newest that I know of, it is not ASTRO software but specific software for the XTS3500.
That is what I have and it works great. I have never tried the ASTRO software of CPS but I don't believe it will work on this radio

The only available programming software for the 3500 is RSS, do NOT try the Astro RSS or CPS. You will corrupt the codeplug.
