Post by chad_g69 »

i was next to a LAPD officer, who used his astro to make a landline call..

(i heard dialtone and phone ringing, then someone answering..)

anyone know what channel they use for this, or have more info.??

in the LAPD codeplug, i see a phone number for LAPD ECCCS, but no channel has phone operation...

I have never seen an LAPD codeplug, so I will go by your claim that there are no phone interconnect parameters programmed into them. That being the case, they are no doubt running with CentraCom Gold/Elite consoles, and simply patched him to the phone line.

I have seen the OLD codeplug, and there were all sorts of tel numbers for LAPD, FBI the city etc etc programmed in so I would imagine that before the switch to digial they MAY have had something...
