What radios do you own?: XPR, GM, GP, MCS

Post by tdilab »

Hello,

Got an Astro UHF at Dayton this year.
When powered up, I get the "SELF CHK"
message, 2 seconds later, I get the
error "FL 1/82". After 10 seconds, then
the radio cycle through error FL 01/90.
And, I cannot talk to the Radio using
the RSS & RIB. Anyone can help me please ?

Daniel.

Other than the board being bad, open up the radio and check the pin connections. I installed a dvp board in mine, and I bent a pin (didn't realize it) and got the same thing. A connector may not be attached, causing the problem.

hello PJ,

Unfortunately, I cannot swap the Astro
Control board because I only have that one.
I did however replaced the whole Control
board by a strandard Spectra and I works !

Do you know exactly what means the FL 31/82
error code or where I could get the list
of all the Spectra Astro error codes ?

Your codeplug is toast. If you need assistance with recovery, email me at [email protected], or you can pay Moto $330 flat rate and they will recover it for you.
