Smartzone / Smartnet

Hi,

I've read over some other posts similar to this, but haven't quite been able to find a concrete answer. (And I just want to make sure before I break the bank...) I am looking for an Astro portable with (IMBE, Smartnet, Digital ID Display) in the flashcode. All the systems I want to use are only Smartnet systems.

I have found a radio that has nearly the same flashcode as what I need, except its options are: (IMBE, SMARTZONE, Digital ID Display). Will this radio still work on Smartnet systems? Can I "turn off" the Smartzone feature and just use the normal Smartnet system?

The Smartzone feature set contains all Smartnet features plus the addition of: RSSI / Auto site registration & deregistration / call handoff / busy override / and preferred site.

You can program a Smartzone capable radio with the correct subset of features to operate on a Smartnet system.
