What radios do you own?: XTS2500/5000, XPR7550/5550

As far as I know, it's not just that they're compatible with each other, but that they use the same battery and same part number.

escomm's definitely right, though. My Saber and ASTRO Saber share a battery. (Err, not at the same time...)

Wait, are you saying Saber R and ASTRO Saber R use different batteries? I'm in the market for one now, so I'd better figure this out.

Saber R and Astro Saber R use the same battery.
Saber and Astro Saber use the same battery.
R battery is different from the other type.
Okay?

Another thing to add here, both ruggedized and non-ruggedized saber batteries do fit into same charger, although R-sabers can not use non-R batteries and vice-versa.

All Standard Saber accessories will work with a Saber R exept the battery and belt clips .

At one time I was running a Public safety mic with a VHF antenna on my Saber R. Then a Jedi style remote. Now I just use the regular remote.
