PocketJet 3 wiring

I wasn't sure where to put this post, hopefully this isn't too OT.

If you are installing a Pocketjet 3 thermal printer in to a car, the manufacturer says to install a 5 amp fuse. What they do not tell you is that there is already a non-replaceable 5A fuse built in to the little plack box on the power cord. Instead, use a 4A fuse. the printer draws 3.5A max, so you should be fine. We have had to replace a lot of cables because of this. Lots of $ and time wasted.

LOL, I have been down that road. I used a dremel and cut the mid cable box apart and yanked that internal 5 amp fuse out. They fill the box with silicone before filling it, how nice of them.
