R2600C enchanced spectrum analyzer

R2600C enchanced spectrum analyzer

Good Morning,

I have two R2600Cs. One, which is DOA, has the enchanced spcectrum analyzer and test setup options. The other, the working unit, does not.

How are these two options added? Is it just an eprom firmware change or something similar, or is there more hardware involved. I was thinking that if it was something such as an eprom, I could just pull the chip from the bad unit and place it in the good unit. Anyone know exactly what is involved?

Those options are software only. You can swap the processor boards between the two units.
