well i used my multimeter in series with my astro saber her is what it says
IDLE 110mA / .814 Watts
IDLE 100% AUDIO 300mA / 2.22 Watts
ANALOG TX 3.2A / 23.68 Watts ?
Does that sound right or am i doing something wrong?

So if you use ohm's law you get the following 23.68/3.2 = 7.4 volts. I'd say your in the ball park.

The Saber radios draw a lot less current than the Astro Saber.

85 Ma Rx
218 Rx at rated audio
3000 Ma TX
