Re: GM900 no audio

I've managed to sort out this issue on my GM900's, you need to link pins 1+2 and 4+9, this forces the radio to drive the internal speaker, it's also worth noting that within the RSS you need to make sure that "Standard Handset Support" is set to "Disabled" other wise the internal speaker will not ...

Re: Programming a GP900

Tom,
Thanks for the info, it all came flooding back yesterday as i searched around for an old pc to try and use for the programming, due to unfortunate circumstances the guy that used to help has passed away so it has been left to me to sort things out. I've now been able to program both the GM900 ...

Re: Programming a GP900

I've just fired up the software to make some changes to my GP and GM 900 radio's but the software is very unstable and really is unusable, can someone remind me how to cure the programming problems, think i'm right that the OS should be no newer than Win98?

GM900 accessories+panel speaker

Now that i have been able to operate the GM900 radio, I would like to find out if there is a microphone/speaker "fist" type that i can use, i can only find the microphone type only at this time.
Also does anyone have the part number for the panel mounted speaker inside the GM900 unit?

reading through the batlabs forum i have found how to convert these radios to be used after removing them from the repeater enclosure. Make sure you link pinouts 1+2, 9+10 to gain control of the front panel and enable the panel speaker.

Thanks for the help reference this problem, as mentioned above, there needed to be a link between pins 9+10, also 1+2 to enable the internal speaker.
It would seem that there needs to be a 25way plug connected to the aux connector on the radio with the relavant links made.
If anyone has the full ...

GR900 to GM900 conversion

this is linked to my question about the GM900 front panel thread, suppose i should have explained this way. Trying to convert the two radios found inside the GR900 for use, i have programmed the new frequencies to be used but i do not have any front panel control on either radio, any ideas ...

GM 900 front panel (no control)

Having taken the two GM 900 radios out of the repeater unit GR 900 I am now going through the process of programming each radio. However both front panel button's on each unit do not work, have i missed something in the RSS that i need to do.
It would seem that they have had the front panel ...

Timeout error

Still having trouble with the programming, can someone confirm the connections are correct on the Batlabs site and that only three connections are required from RIB to radio.
PC being used is a 386/33 at the moment.
I get the "timeout" error even if the radio is disconnected from the RIB, checked ...

Can someone explain the use of the "Boot Control" on the RKN4074 cable, pin 25. It doesn't seem to go anywhere in the RIB !!
Thanks in advance
Tim
