That would be the issue. Last time the fuse blew, I had taken the battery off and used the eliminator and not turned the radio off. It's a 2 amp fuse and yes in the tip of the lighter plug.

Hi,

Anyone know of a good dealer that can sell RF connectors? I am looking to mount a Wilson cellular repeater that is fed by coax but I need some connectors to make it all happen.

Would like to use a shop and not on-line due to the time line that I am working on.

If you slave on of the switches for PL defeat or what ever the wording is so that the channel using no PL on the RX. This would be for a mixed mode channel as you would expect. Hi,

I have a VHF model 3 XTS . Before I installed the DES module, I could lock the radio with a password. After I installed the module (all working correctly) I cant seem to get the lock feature to work.

Any suggestions?

HT200 antenna question

Hello,

Found a HT200 VHF while cleaning out a box that was being trashed @ work. Inside one very old HT200 with no antenna. After looking at it for longer than 5 minutes, I think this has a telescopic antenna. Only problem, I can't get it to extend.

Can anyone help here?

sold in Australia in the 80's/90's by the national telco called Telstra.

I had the same problem and found that 10 pin (i think) male to male that connects the vocoder to the rf board was not seated the right way and once I corrected it everything was fine.

The mx series never did the -xl format. I have used that old kvl and what a POS. The 3014 from what I know will only load a dvp-xl module and not a standard dvp version. Are you sure the sabers are not dvp-xl?

Smackdaddy is right. Create the pers file with all the data ie: freq set, group set and site info. then write to the radio with the correct radio setting.

Poor kid comes to a "Motorola" board and a bunch of people keep telling him to get a scanner .......... what a great support team we are. I say get the ht-1000, keep it to rx only and carry a photocopy of the receipt just in case.

The AFP in the ACT run DES-ofb 100%. The general duties police are on the 64 channel plan but the special sections are on the 489 channels. The SAPOL have their radios strapped to secure for most of the channels and run DES-ofb.

Short answer is your hooped in the ACT and SA.
